Vincent Enyeama (born 29 August 1982) is a Nigerian professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper. He was also a member of the Nigerian national team from 2002 until October 2015, he served as the captain from 2013 until his retirement from international football.
With 101 caps, he is Nigeria’s most capped player of all time.
Vincent Enyeama has taken the role of a goalkeeper coach with French National 3 club side, Iris Club de Croix.
Enyeama who spent a large part of his playing career in France will train the club’s reserves and u-16 goalkeepers.
Iris Club de Croix plays its football in Championnat National 3, the fifth tier of football in France, taking to their official Facebook account confirmed former Nigeria goalkeeper has taken up a coaching role at the club.
A statement by the club on Instagram read ““Vincent Enyema, Nigerian International, winner of the CAN 2013, 8th World Cup finalist against France and former goalkeeper of the LOSC (Lille) from 2011 to 2018, will take charge of the specific goalkeeper on the training pole (from reserve to U16)”
