Nigeria has recorded 8 new COVID-19 deaths and 452 new cases in 13 states and FCT.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) unvealed this via Twitter on Tuesday.
New cases were confirmed in 13 states and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja according to NCDC.
Breakdown of the figures, Lagos state got the highest number of infections in the country with 209 cases, Oyo came second with 67 cases followed by Delta with 37 cases. Ogun recorded 36 cases, Abia (20), Enugu (16), Bauchi (15).
Other states with minor cases are: Kaduna and Ondo recorded 8 cases respectively, Osun (7) with Benue and Imo each recording (3) cases.
Whereas, the FCT has 22 cases, Borno state has the least figure with just 1 person infected.
Now, Nigeria has 21,371 total confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the country, discharged patients were 7, 338.
