As the novel Covid-19 caused by the coronavirus becomes a major challenge to the world, Many Nigerians who traveled abroad for greener pastures have returned home.
Just in, Airpeace Airlines has evacuated 268 Nigerians that have been stranded over the months in China due to the outbreak of Coronavirus.
Though, according to AIT News “there were later reports of discriminatory maltreatment of Nigerians including other Africans in China that led to the intervention of the country’s embassy in Beijing with authorities also summoning the Chinese ambassador in Abuja to formally lodge a complaint about the disturbing incidents”
According to a statement made by Airpeace, “Today, May 30, 2020, Air Peace airlifted 268 Nigerians back to the country from China. The flight arrived at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja at exactly 14:30hrs. All evacuees will be proceeding on the mandatory 14 days quarantine as directed by the Federal Government”
