The young man who was earlier portrayed with the intention of harming the president at argungu festival, has broken silence on how the department of state security treated him while he was arrested questioned and detained.
The thirty-year-old Mohammed Jemilu has denied reports he was shot by the security of the President, Muhammadu Buhari, for allegedly breaching security protocol to ‘attack’ the Nigerian leader in Argungu festival which was held Kebbi State, on Thursday.
Speaking reporters in Birnin Kebbi on Friday, Jemilu who is a graduate of Management Science, Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto. Explained that his intention was to demonstrate his love for Buhari, and not to harm
The young man said: “What happened yesterday (Thursday) was a result of the emotional love I have for President Buhari, And the state security have treated me so well during questioning,nobody touched me,I was given food and treated nicely.
The minister of information ‘lai mohammed’ explained that there will be arrangements for the young man to visit the president at Aso-villa for presidential handshake.
While others have spoken about the situation,and stated that the nigerian security need to do better, and also looking at the fact that the president’s security was too flexible and loosed.
