Arsenal’s game which was set to hold at Manchester City was postponed on Wednesday due to the ongoing CODVID-19 virus this action was also triggered by the fact that players from the London club were restricted, this is the first Premier League fixture to be cancelled because of the new coronavirus.
Another situation confirmed that, Arsenal players and four staff had been quarantined at their homes after they came in contact with the owner of Greek club Olympiakos, who tested positive for COVID-19.
“We are strictly following the government guidelines which recommend that anyone coming into close contact with someone with the virus should self-isolate at home for 14 days from the last time they had contact,” an Arsenal statement said.
Due to the ongoing situation, the players will be absent for tonight’s match against their opponent ‘Manchester City’ those in charge of the Premier League has also decided the game should be postponed.”to avoid further issues.
