Tribute To Late Michael Nnadi From Fada Kay:

It’s so sad that I have to type these words. Moments ago, we got news that the last seminarians Michael Nnadi, the one we’ve been hoping would be reunited to us has been murdered. God rest his gentle soul.

An internal memo by Bishop Kukah of Sokoto Diocese (the Local Diocese of the Deceased) confirmed this information.

The Registrar, Rev Fr Dr Joel Usman wrote: “This is to inform all our friends and well wishers that the remaining abducted Seminarian has been found dead. Thank you very much for your prayerful support. Let us keep praying for Nigeria in Great Distress. Please let us remain faithful in the Risen Lord. May the soul of our Brother Nnadi Michael and the souls of all the faithful departed rest in peace with the Lord. Amen.”

A young man got into the Seminary October last year, full of hopes and dreams. He wanted to give his life for Christ. In December 2019, he got his white Soutane. He didn’t mean to die few months later, and certainly not at Eighteen. But he has been martyred. He now rests with the Lord who has called him.

The Nigerian Government has failed us all. In these few years, Priests and religious have been killed brutally. Many law abiding Nigerians have been stolen like animals and made to go through hell. Many have lost their lives. Are we at war?

Where are the prosecutions? Where are the arrests?

We even had to go on a peaceful protest all across the country. Yet, here we are. Another murder in cold blood.

Like I said days ago, this is a sad time to be a Nigerian.

Please let’s stay calm. We believe in the power of the resurrection, and God knows best. We cannot become violent and become worse than those who aren’t afraid to kill God’s anointed.

May God grant Michael’s family the fortitude to bear this great loss. Amen.

Please take a moment and say a prayer for the peaceful repose of Michael’s soul.
