Leah Shaibu, a Christian girl also known as the LEGEND of FAITH. She was abducted from school along with other girls [100] and one boy in February 2018. However, a month later, they were all released through what the government described as “back-channel” negotiations except this Legend of Faith, Leah Shaibu who is still in the custody of the abductors.

What was her offense? She refused to compromise her Christian faith by putting on hijab and reciting Koran. quoting from the attestation of one of the girls “Boko Haram told Leah to accept Islam and she refused. So they said she would not come with us and she should go and sit back down with three other girls they had there.

“We begged her to just recite the Islamic declaration and put the hijab on and get into the vehicle, but she said it was not her faith, so why should she say it was? If they want to kill her, they can go ahead, but she won’t say she is a Muslim.”

According to the source, Leah, who refused to renounce her Christian faith, was forced to accept Islam before being married to a top commander of the terror group.
