What Is Halloween?
Halloween is another religious and pleasurable way of celebrating images, witches and spiritual sacrifices for an event.
“Halloween is a popular American holiday for children and adults. It is celebrated on October 31st every year. Children dress up in costumes and go after dark house to house, knock on the door and say trick or treat! People then give the children “treats” like candy. Costumes can be scary. You will see many witches, monsters, ghosts and vampires but you might also see lots of children dressed up as fairies or princesses. It is also a time that people have Halloween parties where you can play fun games like bobbing for apples, go through a haunted house, or have a costume party. You will also see lots of jack o’lanterns on Halloween.” according to ocland USA.
Halloween is usually celebrated by People in Orthodox churches or background. They have taken it to be fun, candy merry and any other holiday altogether.
Now, The Question: Should Christians Celebrate Halloween?
An EX- Satanist said No! Christians should not celebrate Halloween.
John Ramirez who was a member of Satanist church for 25 years said;
“Why would you take something that is demonic and slap the name of Jesus on it
Jesus is not going to show up and bless your stuff. For me, if I was a pastor, and I’m going to do a celebration on October 31, I would do a play to show the evil and dark side of what Halloween is and how is it you need to come to the cross of Jesus Christ for your salvation.
I got married on Halloween. Had a demonic wedding on Halloween. We are talking about animal rituals, blood sacrifices. On Halloween I had a demonic wedding because that is the devils holiday.
Short History Of Halloween As Put Together By CNN:
“The unquiet spirits, vampires and the omnipresent zombies that take over American streets every October 31 may think Halloween is all about spooky fun. But what Halloween masqueraders may not realize is that in the early 1970s and well into the next decade, real fear took over. The media, police departments and politicians began to tell a new kind of Halloween horror story — about poisoned candy.
No actual events explained this fear: It was driven by social and cultural anxieties. And there is a lesson in that about the power of rumors on this day of dark fantasy” The above short history will certainly apprise you on what is going on without your consent as a Christian as the act is completely ungodly.
The Reason why Christians Should Not celebrate:
Legal right: This makes you loose your right to the devil… all believers in the Lord have their birthright. One runs the risk of losing or selling his birthright to the devil in the name name of Halloween.
God’s Temple: Disguising yourself with the properties of devil make you unholy before the living God. Remember that your body is the temple of Christ.
Eternal Mistake: Devil owns everything about you. That is to say celebration of Halloween will make the person possessed. Whatever they acquired they share them with Satan.
Satanists Celebrate: as a Christian, if you celebrate it, bear it in mind that Satanists… Those who already know what it is are laughing at you as a Christian thereby bringing mockery and reproach to believers.
We bring it into our churches: burning of candles and all kinds of devilish practices. It looks irritating as that should be called another form of sacrifice. What about the finish work of Christ on the cross… It is finished.
Demonic Candies: Candies have been celebrated and prayed for in the kingdom of darkness. So, celebrating Halloween is a kind of making a covenant with demonic powers.
Christians should not celebrate Halloween. Anything that is not of the Lord or has no place in the Bible, does not call for celebration.
Open your peoples eyes to see the demonic side of Halloween.
It’s all about the devil and his deceptive strategies to capture mankind. We have been warned by the Almighty God that:
“Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness [of any thing] that [is] in heaven above, or that [is] in the earth beneath, or that [is] in the water under the earth: 5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God [am] a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the … Leventicus 26:1 Exodus 20:4-6.
“They that make a graven image are all of them vanity; and their delectable things shall not profit; and they are their own witnesses; they see not, nor know; that they may be ashamed. 10 Who hath formed a god, or molten a graven image that is profitable for nothing? 11 Behold, all his fellows shall be ashamed: and the workmen, they are of men: let them all be gathered together, let them stand up; yet they shall fear, and they shall be ashamed together.” Isaiah 44:9-20.
Satan’s Destructive Agenda For Humanity:
Frankly speaking, devil and his agents have remain resolute and residents for the purpose of our precious soul. Not everyone is a normal human being. Some people are here on the planet but there sole aim is to be recruiting staff for the devil. This includes, Some men that claim to be servants of God! For instance, Pope, Bishops, General Overseas, Teachers, Pastors, Evangelists. As a matter of some of them are here to accomplish satanic agenda.
The devil already knew that people love celebrations of all kinds. That is why it appears unique since it’s the day that friends come together and exchange precious gifts. Believe me, Satan has no good gift. He gives you and take from another side. But thank God christ has overcome!
10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. (John 10:10) in all be strong in the Lord.
Not all celebration is of the Lord. Be wise also… The world is characterized by strange gods. Hold unto the faith which was delivered unto the saints.
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. (2 Corinthians 5:17)
If you have celebrated Halloween or anything that represents Christ, you still have a chance to amen and repent. The love of christ is your coverage. (John 3:16)
All sins are forgivable. “Come now, let us settle the matter,” says the LORD. “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool.”
So, our loving Jesus is ever ready to forgive you as you come on the basis of his mercy.
Come unto me, all you that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. (Matthew 11:28)
