100 Laptops Received In Jigawa University From NTDA:
Sule Lamido University, Kafin-Hausa, Jigawa state reveals on Wednesday that it had received 100 Laptops
from National Information Development Agency (NTDA)
under its ICT Projects.
Alhaji Sadiq Lawal, the Public Relations Officer disclosed this to Vanguard Newsmen in Kafin- Hausa.
Said that the laptops were delivered by Mr. Kehinde Owopetu, the NITDA’s Scientific Officer.
He also told them that on behalf of the Vice- Chancellor, Prof. Lawal Sani-Taura, the computers were received by the Deputy Vice- Chancellor, Dr. Umar Maisaje.
In appreciation, The Vice chancellor of the institution Prof Lawal express his euphoria for such gift from NITDA and thank them for deeming them fit for that kind of gesture.
He also pledges that the
Laptops would be used for its intended purposes.
Mr. Kashifu Abdullahi, the Director-General of NITDA in a letter to the institution stated that the intervention was aimed at making growth in innovation easier and promoting entrepreneurship. He revealed that the laptops are to be used by both the
university and the local community.
