A woman, mother of four has just lost her live to a quack doctor.
salahudeen jamiu, has been apprehended by the Ogun state police for the incident.
The woman by the name,Kehinde Olakitan, has died in Ogun State during the abortion by the quack doctor.
Salahudeen Jamiu, the alleged quack doctor, has been apprehended by the Ogun State Police Command over the incident.
According to the statement made by the spokesperson for the police in Ogun, Abimbola Oyeyemi, he state that ,the suspect was arrested following a report made by the husband of the deceased.
He added that, “The husband of the deceased reported the incident at Onipanu Division. According to the husband of the deceased, “he explained that he received a call from one Dupe Odebunmi who claimed to be a nurse ,that his wife, Kehinde Olakitan, was sick and on admission at Mojisola Maternity Clinic owned by the suspect.
“He stated further that on getting to the clinic, it was empty and no signs of anyone, but on his way back home, he discovered the corpse of his wife in front of a building just close to his house.
“Upon receiving the report, the Divisional Police Officer of Onipanu Division, Magdalene Adeniji, ordered detectives to launch a manhunt for the operator of the clinic.
“They were fortunate enough as their efforts yielded positive result when the suspect was apprehended on October 24, 2019.
“during the interrogation, the suspect admitted to the crime on carrying out an abortion on the deceased who was brought to him by her friend named Dupe Odebunmi and that the deceased died instantly during the process.
“He further confessed that it was out of fear that made him dump her corpse in the frontage of a house close to her residence,where the husband was able to find her.
“The Commissioner of Police, Bashir Makama, has ordered that the suspect be transferred to homicide section of the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department for proper and further investigation alongside prosecution.”
