U.I Staff Apprehended By DSS For Exam Malpractice:
DSS official stroms the university of ibadan to apprehend their staff for exam malparactice.
The employees of the Department of Distance Learning Centre,
University of Ibadan, have been apprehended
by the Department of State
Services for examination malpractice.
However, the staff, were handed over to the DSS by the Vice-Chancellor of
the University of Ibadan, Prof. Idowu Olayinka, they were accused of
corrupt practices in the school while the exams were going on which is bad example to the students.
Meanwhile, the institution’s spokesman, Olatunji Oladejo, who spoke to news men confirmed the
development on Monday evening by listing the names of the affected staff and they are as follows;
Edward Eborgu (Head of UI DLC software Unit);
Kehinde Ajao (Head Student Support); Shola Akintunde (Executive
Officer and Media representative); Ademola Okunola (IT personnel); one
Lanre (IT personnel) and a certain David in the Director’s office.
Meanwhile, a source who comfirmed their main crime spoke with Daily Trust and revealed that they were arrested
for smuggling scripts for students sitting in examinations, fabrications
of computer-based test results; and falsification of clearance.
The vice chancellor called on the DSS to engage in vigorous investigation. He stated that, this will serve as an example to others.
