2020 Budgets Analysis:

The Opposition Party, PDP has advised the National Assembly to deviate the 2020 budget to areas that would better perform duties the interest of majority of citizens of Nigeria.
The People Democratic Party gave the advice in a report issued by its National Publicity Secretary, Mr. Kola Ologbondiyan on Tuesday in Abuja.
President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday presented a N10.7trn 2020 budget to the joint session of the National Assembly.
The National Publicity Secretary stated that the budget would at a great distance impoverish Nigerians and affiance the future of the nation.
“The fundamental of the budget remains foggy,replication,well stocked with incorrect performance indices, illusive estimates and unaccountable expenditure assertions,” he said.
“The 2020 budget is cock-a-hoop to serve the interest of the luxurious as projects that have direct bearing on the well being of the masses were not considerably indulged in the overall expenditure profile,” he said.
Ologbondiyan also censured what he termed allocations for “alleged vague projects,” especially the Ministries of Works and Housing as well as Transportation, where, according to him, there were declaration of rerouting of public funds in the last budget.
“Standing with millions of Nigerian youths and women, our party dismiss the inadequate budgets of N48bn for education and N46bn for health; and advises the National Assembly to analysis the allocations in the interest of Citizens(Nigerians).”
